Information Notice Language Academy
As part of the access to the training results of employees registered on the Language Academy learning platform, Safran (www.safran-group.com) processes their personal data based on its legitimate interest in enabling the development of their language skills.
The data subjects are employees of the Safran Group who have requested registration on Language Academy.
The personal data processed via the application are as follows:
• Identification data: name, first name.
• Connection data: time spent on the platform.
• Professional data: professional email address, company.
• Learning-specific data: languages learned, test results.
The data of an employee's account are kept for 3 years from the launch of the platform. The default access duration to an account is 6 months, corresponding to the training course. After this period, the employee can request to extend their account for an additional 6 months, otherwise the employee's account is suspended.
This data is accessible to those who need to know it for the performance of their duties, including:
• Group managers of Safran University in charge of the language domain and authorized service providers: have read-only access to user account reporting and statistics for all employees;
• Training managers of Safran sites: have read-only access to user account reporting and statistics for employees within their scope;
• The service provider responsible for providing Language Academy: has access to all training and technical data on users.
The data is hosted and backed up by the service provider in the European Union (Ireland and Germany).
The service provider responsible for providing the application (Lingua Attack) is data controller for processing related to user access to training content, including AI modules, managing connection logs, and usage statistics of its platform. In addition to the security measures implemented by the service provider for the use of its application, Safran has implemented security measures specific to the processing of data for monitoring employee results: notably SSO access for employees and segregation of access to employee data.
The data subjects have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and portability, as well as a right to object. The data subjects can exercise their rights by contacting Safran's Data Protection Officer: safran.dpo@safrangroup.com. The data subjects can also file a complaint with the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr). Exercising the rights of the data subjects will not result in any form of discrimination by Safran. The data of the data subjects is not resold.
